Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) allows only 2 person and their trekking luggage in flight from Gorak Shep or EBC. If there are more then 2 person than Helicopter needs to shuttle from one camp below at Pheriche.

Shuttle process: From Lukla, helicopter departs to pick up 2 person from Gorak Shep then takes them to Pheriche, drop passenger there, then again comes back to Gorakshep to collect remaining passenger. In Pheriche helicopter will collect all of them and fly to Lukla.
